Every techno artist looks the same in photos. Smoke, strobes, a shadow behind the decks. You never see their face and everyone acts like that's the point. I built Odesa Crowe the other way. I put the camera close enough to see her pores, her fingerprints, the chapped skin on her lip, and then made sure she gave up nothing. She stares straight down the lens and you still walk away knowing nothing about her. That rule ran everything. No performing, no crowd shots of her, no smiling. Just hands on skin, chrome lenses that show you your own reflection, and the same flat face in every frame. On posters she's a symbol, not a portrait. You see all of her and none of her. That's the whole brand.
